The Bubbler

My bro at Madrid Skateboards (since 1976) came up with the Ultimate Multipurpose SkateToy called The Bubbler. You blow into the board “bubbles” come out the bowl in the kingpin. I don’t promote other skateboard company’s products but this one is, ground breaking, Blazing Skate Gear.

20th Annual Waterman’s Ball Winners


The 20th Annual Waterman’s Ball took place Friday, August 7th at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel and drew a crowd of hundreds for an auction and dinner to benefit the SIMA Environmental Fund.
The evening honored Dave Rastovich as Environmentalist of the Year(far left) and Rob Machado as Waterman of the Year(far right)
{Gerry Lopez explains why Rob Machado might be the best surfer in the world today.} and the late Dick Baker with the SIMA Lifetime Achievement Award, and combined with the 9th Annual Waterman’s Classic Golf Tournament, raised more than $400,000 toward 18 ocean-environmental organizations.

Legendary surfer and past recipient of the Waterman of the Year honor Gerry Lopez explains why Rob Machado might be the best surfer in the world today.
