Something remarkable is happening in the fields and orchards of the Pacific Northwest. Family farmers are making a comeback – growing much healthier food and lots more food per acre while using less water and energy than factory farms.
Official Selection 2008 Seattle International Film Festival – A stronger, more sustainable food system is beginning to emerge in the Pacific Northwest, one that contributes to consumers’ health, to the health of the environment, and to regional food security. GOOD FOOD, to be released in September 2008, celebrates what has been achieved so far and presents some of the innovative small farmers who remain as stewards of the land by developing these sustainable practices.
